Alex Dunbar has been teaching at AJA since 2022. She worked as a bilingual elementary teacher for twelve years with AISD prior to joining AJA. Alex loves the community here at AJA and is very passionate about project-based learning.
Alex is fluent in Spanish, as she grew up in Costa Rica and has also lived in Venezuela, Morocco, and the Ivory Coast. Mrs. Dunbar graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio with a degree in Geosciences, and she is currently working on her master’s degree in Sustainability at Texas State University.
