Coach Bobby Schwartz and the AJA Lions Football team once celebrated a perfect, undefeated season capped by a championship win. That special group of athletes has since carried their success onto the next level of competition. Recently, Coach Schwartz reunited with his former players on the sidelines of the Shoal Creek Showdown Taco Shack Bowl Game between Anderson and McCallum.

Reflecting on the moment, Coach Schwartz shared his pride:

“To see our Lions—who first took the field at AJA—now competing under the Friday Night Lights at House Park in a sold-out stadium was unforgettable. They weren’t just representing their high schools; they were also carrying with them the spirit of the AJA community. For me, and for the parents and players who remember the journey from youth and middle school football to varsity Texas high school football, it was truly a special moment.”
