Peller, Allyson

Ms. Allyson Peller began her teaching career in Austin almost six years ago, at our very own AJA! During that time she taught first grade for three years before exploring public education for the past two. Needless to say, AJA has always been a special place to her and she is beyond excited to be back with our amazing community. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Michigan State University, as well as a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from UT at Arlington. She has been teaching for ten years, including time at a Montessori school, a tribal charter school, and public school districts.

In her downtime, Ms. Peller enjoys hanging out with her family and friends and exploring new places (especially restaurants) around Austin. She has recently started hiking as a hobby and would love any recommendations on great trails! During the hot Texas summers, you can find her out on the water or visiting family back in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Ms. Peller is thrilled to back and can’t wait to jump back into the amazing program that AJA has to offer.
