Kelly Hill

Ms. Hill is a passionate, dynamic teacher who has been at AJA for six years. Ms. Hill also teaches a popular after-school art club. Ms. Hill is a seasoned educator with 14 years of experience as a classroom teacher, coupled with over 25 years of dedicated art instruction to individuals of all ages.

Her extensive background as an elementary school teacher primarily revolves around Project-Based Learning and the implementation of Conscious Discipline methodologies, reflecting her commitment to holistic and creative education. She strives to create engaging and interactive cross-curricular lessons that foster curiosity and creativity. She has a strong connection to the Jewish community and the values taught at AJA.

Ms. Hill had been a ceramic artist for over 30 years and spends most of her free time at her pottery studio or swimming laps at the JCC pool.

Ms. Hill holds a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from the University of Texas and a Master’s Degree in Transpersonal Psychology with an emphasis in Art Therapy from Naropa University in Boulder, CO. She is certified in the State of Texas to teach Elementary Education, EC-6 and Special Education EC-12.
