Coach Schwartz has been at AJA since 2021. He is a Texas State Certified Teacher and has taught AP and Pre-AP History Classes, PE, Israeli History, Music, Jewish History & Jewish Studies.
Coach Schwartz spent his youth working as a Professional Touring musician as a lead singer and guitar player. He is a proud single father raising two children, Zaya and Blake. In his free time, Coach Schwartz enjoys taking his kids to theme parks around the country (including Universal Studios, Disney, and water parks), surfing, playing guitar and drums, and playing golf with friends.
Coach Schwartz loves the sense of community at AJA and school spirit for Lion’s Athletics.
Coach Schwartz holds a BA in Government, International Relations as well as in Theology from USC. He earned his Master’s Degree in Government, International Relations from UT. Additionally, he has completed 30 hours of doctoral work towards his Ph.D from the LBJ Presidential School of Public Policy at the University of Texas. His dissertation is on injustice and inequalities in the family law court system regarding father’s rights and the psychological and emotional effects on children of single fathers.
