Kindergarten Milestone: Siddur Ceremony

This past week, our kindergarten students reached a beautiful and memorable milestone in their
Jewish learning journey – the Siddur Ceremony.

With joy and pride, each child received their very first siddur, marking the beginning of their personal relationship with Jewish prayer and tradition.

The ceremony was a moving celebration, as our youngest students led their families in a heartfelt tefillah (prayer) service. Their voices, filled with confidence and sincerity, reflected the dedication and excitement they’ve brought to learning throughout the year.

This milestone is more than just receiving a siddur — it symbolizes the start of a lifelong journey. Through months of learning Hebrew letters, understanding prayer meanings, and exploring the beauty of Jewish traditions, our kindergarteners have laid a strong foundation for their continued spiritual and linguistic growth.

We are so proud of our students and deeply grateful to the teachers and families who have nurtured and supported them along the way. Mazel Tov to our kindergarten class on this special achievement!
