JRock BandLab: Make Music. Build a Band. Find Your Sound.
Is your child always singing, tapping out rhythms, making up songs, or dreaming about being in a band? 
JRock BandLab is an exciting after-school music experience for ages 8–13 where students get to do more than just learn an instrument—they get to be in a band!
Every Tuesday from 3:45–5:15 PM, students will collaborate to:
Form their own band and rotate through musical roles including vocals, keys, rhythm, and percussion.
Write and create original songs while also learning fun, age-appropriate cover songs
Explore music production and A/V production
Create their own music video
Develop performance skills and prepare for an end-of-term live performance and music video premiere!Throughout the program, students will strengthen their musical and technical skills while developing something just as important: confidence, self-agency, creative problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.
The goal isn’t perfection—it’s learning how to create together, take creative risks, listen to one another, and discover what they can do.
And yes… There will be a kosher-friendly snack to keep our rockstars fueled! 
The JRock BandLab is the perfect place for young musicians to experiment, collaborate, and find their voice—whether they’re already playing an instrument or just ready to jump into the band.
Every Tuesday starting September 8th through December 8th, 2026 (no class November 24th) | 3:45–5:15 PM | Ages 8–13.
Discount for AJA Students: 13 Classes for $385. A kosher snack is included.
