Fourth Grade Milestone Ceremony: Havdalah

Fourth Grade Milestone Ceremony: Havdalah

We are excited to share the highlights of our recent milestone events for our 4th graders, held on
February 1st.

It was a special time of growth, learning, and celebration for our students, as they marked important moments in their Jewish journey.

Our 4th graders kicked off the evening with a meaningful Havdalah ceremony to mark the end of Shabbat. The students had been preparing for weeks, even crafting their own candles with Ms. K.
This hands-on process not only allowed the students to tap into their creativity but also deepened their connection to the rituals and traditions of Shabbat.

The evening began with the students proudly creating beautiful spice bags, each filled with fragrant herbs of their choosing, which they shared with their families during the Havdalah service they led.

With the warm glow of their hand-crafted candles lighting up the room, the 4th graders recited the blessings and prayers, wrapping up Shabbat with grace and confidence. It was truly a beautiful and memorable experience for everyone involved!
