Welcome to AJA!

Thank you for your interest in Austin Jewish Academy where you can find the best of both worlds: a project-based academic curriculum with the highest of standards integrated with timeless Jewish values and traditions. We encourage you to visit our campus where you’ll find a supportive community of teachers and students collaborating on creative projects, exploring the world around them near and far, and thinking critically about ways to transform the future. We are an inclusive community of learners, with a faculty dedicated to inspiring a lifetime love of learning and to developing a meaningful connection to Jewish life past and present. At AJA, we empower students to reach their full potential both in the classroom and in the world at large.

We invite you to tour AJA to see our classrooms and teachers “in action” and learn more about our programs. Tours are available the following times:

  • Tuesdays: 8:30-9:30am  and 2:30-3:30pm
  • Wednesdays: 10-11am
  • Thursdays: 10-11am and 2-3pm

How To Apply

The Application Checklist outlines all steps and documentation required to complete your child’s application to Austin Jewish Academy. The Priority Application Deadline is January 30, 2026. (Please note that applications will be accepted after January 30 in certain grades provided space is available.) Below are the key steps in this process:

  • Online Application Form
  • Teacher Recommendation Form
  • Records Request
  • Student Statement (Middle School Only)
  • School Visit, Interview, and Assessment
  • Tuition Assistance Application (if applicable)

Tuition & Fees for 2025-26

Please note that the Tuition & Fees for 2026-27 will be approved and shared in December of 2025.
