Students Earn $3K During Annual Market Day

Our campus was absolutely buzzing during Market Day, and calling it a success feels like an understatement. Held at the Tocker Engagement and Education Center, the event transformed the space into a lively marketplace filled with creativity, confidence, and nonstop energy. With 30 tables and approximately 45 student entrepreneurs, there was excitement in every direction.

Students showcased an impressive range of products, including 3D-printed creations, cookies, drinks, cake pops, keychains, face painting, pickles, bows, bookmarks, artwork, pottery, and so much more. Each table reflected thoughtful planning and bold creativity as students pitched their ideas, managed sales, and engaged with customers like seasoned professionals.

Live music by Coach Bobby and Mr. White added to the vibrant, festival-style atmosphere, drawing in many Shalom Austin visitors who were curious about the buzz and eager to see what all the excitement was about. The steady flow of visitors created a lively hum throughout the event and made Market Day feel truly dynamic and communal.

In just two hours, students collectively earned about $3,000 in sales, with half of those proceeds returning to the school to support student programs. It was a powerful example of learning in action and community support coming together.

We are incredibly proud of our AJA entrepreneurs for their hard work, creativity, and professionalism. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the parents who helped make the day run smoothly and supported our students every step of the way. Market Day was a memorable celebration of initiative, innovation, and school spirit.
