On the Friday before winter break, AJA students proudly shared their learning during our annual Portfolio Day—an event that highlights both academic growth and personal reflection.

Portfolio Day gives students the opportunity to curate a collection of their work, reflect on their progress, and present their learning journey to an authentic audience of parents, teachers, and community panelists.

This year’s Portfolio Day was a tremendous success. Students presented with confidence, clarity, and maturity, thoughtfully explaining their work, goals, and areas of growth. Many demonstrated strong ownership of their learning, speaking with poise and purpose as they answered questions and engaged in meaningful conversations with panelists.

The atmosphere throughout the day was one of pride and celebration. Parents, panelists, and students alike left the presentations beaming—clearly moved by the effort, growth, and dedication on display. It was especially rewarding to see students recognize their own progress and feel proud of how far they have come.

Portfolio Day continues to be a powerful reminder of the value of reflection, student voice, and authentic learning experiences. We are incredibly proud of our students and grateful to the families and community members who helped make this day such a meaningful and memorable success.
