Get Involved (PTO)

The Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) helps strengthen parent-teacher partnerships in and out of the classroom, build engagement and connection within the AJA community, support AJA’s leadership, and promote AJA’s mission. Ultimately, the PTO provides faculty and staff with additional resources to positively impact your child’s educational experience.

PTO Events Include:

• Community Shabbat Dinners
• Market Days
• Staff Appreciation Week
• Raise Craze
• School Dance
• Penny Wars
• Purim Carnival
• And more!

Ways to Get Involved

PTO Leadership Roles include:

• Room Parents, who serve as key ambassadors for the PTO with other classroom parents, and who serve as a liaison between the teacher and classroom parents.
• Events Chairs, recruiting and coordinating other volunteers to ensure successful events.

We encourage all parents to:

• Attend monthly PTO meetings
• Volunteer when possible with PTO events
• Let us know if there are other ways you can donate your time, talent, and treasure to help strengthen AJA!
